YO! YO! YOOO!!!! What's up people's!!!!! It's me The King of KIngs!!!! Today while I was in class I saw a little cartoon by Jessica Haggy. Sadly, I can't show it to you but I'm going to tell you what it means and what career I am going to have.
Q- What does Jessica Haggy mean with this cartoon?
A- For me in my case this means that now I am a somewhat young kid who has a dream of becoming the best CEO in the world and owning alot of businesses. When I grow up I want to be a very smart CEO with the best companyies like hotels, wholesale stores,etc. and be known for my great work when I pass away.
Q- What career do I want to have?
A- Well as I said before I want to be a CEO/CFO or if I can't do that then I would like to be the manager of a huge business.
Q- What kind of work will it take to get there?
A- Well here is the long and hard question. Um, well in order to be a CEO you have to be able to Plan, direct, and coordinate the financial activities of an organization at the highest level of management. Includes financial reserve officers.
Here are the tasks:
1. Coordinates and directs financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and investment activities of organization.
2. Prepares reports or directs preparation of reports summarizing organization's current and forecasted financial position, business activity, and reports required by regulatory agencies.
3. Delegates authority for receipt, disbursement, banking, protection and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments.
4. Analyzes past, present, and expected operations.
5. Advises management on economic objectives and policies, investments, and loans for short- and long- range financial plans.
6. Evaluates need for procurement of funds and investment of surplus.
7. Arranges audits of company accounts.
8. Ensures that institution reserves meet legal requirements.
9. Interprets current policies and practices and plans and implements new operating procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
That's alot right!!! But there's more! Here are the skills required to become one.
Management of Financial Resources- Determing how much money will be spent to get the job done.
Mathematics- Using mathematics to solve problems.
Critical Thinking- Using knowledge and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions
Judgement and decision making- Considering the relative cost and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropiate one.
Reading Comprehension- Understanding written sentences and paragrahs in work related documents.
