The Giants have had a tough season so far. But, as tough as it has been, they made it into the playoffs. They are safe.
The giants have overcome a lot of bad injuries such as Mathias Kiwanuka; he broke his leg while tackling the ball carrier. Jeremy Shockey also broke his leg. These are two very important players on the team. Even after going through all of that they are facing the toughest game of their season if not their lives.
So you might say, why is this game so important when the Giants are already in the playoffs? They are facing the New England Patriots who have gone undefeated so far this year. This is the last game of the regular season. No team has gone undefeated since the Miami Dolphins did it in 1972.
Now Eli and his squad have to play the New England Patriots Saturday at 8pm. The New England Patriot fans will be really loud and try to shake the Giants. Some even think the Giants, because they are already in the playoffs won’t use their best guys and risk further injuries. This is a very important game to many.
But I really believe that the Giants will come on the field, with their best players ready to fight hard and win. The Giants will be the team that we have come to love and respect. They will not “fake” this game, and be safe.
The emotions that this team has shown throughout the season have been amazing and I believe that they will bring these same emotions to New England on Saturday night. They will rise above the screaming “Pats” fans and if not win this game, give it the best fight that they have. All of their hard work will have paid off in the long run. I’ve got the Giants Saturday night, and I’m even praying for snow!
