Inspiration and Life- FINAL

All of our elders can really inspire us. My previous blog was about my brother and how he inspired me. I think when someone inspires you they do something so nice for someone it can actually change them or they don't do anything, but there is just something different about this person.

My Uncle Jojo is such an inspiration. He gives back to so much people and to the neighborhood he grew up in. When my uncle was younger he didn't grow up with much money. He always remembers those people who in one way or another had an impact on what he became today. My uncle worked hard to work his way up in life and now he is a boss of a company in the Philippines. Even though the journey wasn't smooth he never gave up.

My Uncle Jojo knows how all the children growing up in the neighborhood he lives in feel like. He helps a lot of the kids there and throws parties for them. Every year my uncle throws a Christmas party in my grandmother’s house. He invites about 80 kids to come over, eat, and enjoy themselves. He encourages my brother and me to send our used toys, books, and clothes. What a way to learn charity!!! All the kids are looking forward to this day every year and they love watching the television because some of them don't even have one. Also, he helps send a brother and a sister to elementary school. He helps pay for school supplies and for their school tuition because their parents can't afford to pay for those things. The dad rides around a bike with seats attached to it and transports people from place to place. Thats the only way he earns his livelihood. The mom stays at home to take care of their five children. They are very young parents with not a lot of money.

Inspiration is a big thing in life. You can be the smallest person on earth, but you can be capable of doing things bigger than yourself. That's just how I look up to my Uncle Jojo. Just remember to think of others and give back to those who gave to you and those who didn't, it doesn't mean they did not deserve help, everybody does.
