Foo Foo Final

Is that it!

Have you ever had that feeling that something was going to happen, but you were not quite sure what it is. You wake up bright and early one morning thinking that it is a regular day. You get up and race your brother to the bathroom (who knows who takes longer). When you win you shove it in his face like a spoiled brat. You come out and ready for school, you go outside and stand at the bus stop.

You get on the bus and start walking down the ail as you do that everyone is looking at you and will not turn away. You just tilt your head down and act like you don’t realize them but you do. You look for your friend and you don’t see her seating in the back because that is she usually seats, so you just deiced to go seat in the front. You get of the bus and nothing looks the same, but maybe it’s just the fact that you have not been in school for a week.

You walk into the building asking the question is this the right school, but not remembering the fact that you had moved and you do not want to bring it back up. You have no clue were your going so you decide to follow the girl in front of you. She keeps looking back and wonders why your following her every step ,she goes left and you go left .She walks into the bathroom and so do you ,when you turn the corner she is standing there with her arms crossed. You start panicking not knowing what to do or were to go. You tell her that you are the new kid then she says welcome, she tells you her name and you do the same. And this is how you and she are come best friends and now you know what that feeling was the whole time.

My Brother

My brother is a big influence in my life and also one of my role models. When we were younger we fought a lot, but as we grew older we matured and got over the fighting. He has set good examples as we grew up. One good example is to never give up. My brother always used to get frustrated when he started middle school, but he never let that get in the way. Second, he is a good leader. When something went wrong my brother stepped in and gave me or my friends advice and his advice helped us. Last, he showed me how to be a good sibling. All the examples he set made me a better sibling and made him an even better one.

My brother always had a plan for the future. When my brother was in elemantary school my brother's favorite question was "What do you want to be when you grow up?". My mom would always ask this question. I would always be thinking about an answer, but my brother always said he wanted to be an astronaunt. He hasn't changed his mind since then. My brother wants to work for NASA and go to the moon and beyond. He also wants to be an engineer like our dad.

You may not know my brother that well, but reading this is telling you a lot about him. All these qualities make him the best brother anyone can have. My brother is a normal teenager, but with a twist. A big, nice, caring, and loving twist.

His Favorites List

  1. Me
  2. Mom and Dad

The Cartwheel

It was Wednesday morning when my little sister Kayla woke me up early in the morning saying that she wanted to try and do a cartwheel .She had been trying to do a cartwheel for a week and she’d never given up. The first couple of times my sister did a cartwheel she fell flat on her face! But don’t worry she landed on the mat right after she fell, she got up and tried aging. She was trying to do a cartwheel day. After trying all day, she decides to go inside and rest.

On Thursday, Kayla rushed, and gobbled her food then ran outside. She started practicing her cartwheel. After a couple of tries, Kayla asked me for help. I said, ‘sure”. After I helped Kayla she began to do the cartwheels better. Right before we were about to go inside, she did it! She did the cartwheel. Once she found out, she got so excited, she started jumping and running. I ran inside and told my parents that Kayla did a cartwheel by herself. They were so happy they ran downstairs and outside. Kayla showed our parents the cart wheel two times. My sister and I were so happy that we ran around outside. After that we all went to the Ice Cream store and brought Ice Cream. My sister was so happy that she did a cartwheel or two everyday.

My Extraordinary Tenth Birthday

On my tenth birthday, it was a wet and humid. It was very noisy because of all the people and the airport near by. Most of my family and friends came to celebrate my birthday. There was a magician, some games, prizes, and two pools. The party was held at a resort called Las Palmas in Bacolod City, Philippines. We celebrate my birthday in the Philippines when we go on vacation there. My party started out waiting for guest, and it took people while, because, in the Philippines, everybody is always late never early or on time. People started showing up and, surprisingly, my grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins showed up early even though they live almost two hours away. Then, when almost everybody got there, we started eating and the magician started doing his show. Usually, the magician dresses up as a clown but I asked him not to be a clown for my party. One game is this piñata like game where they lower a board with prizes on them and you have to try and grab as much as you can. After the games, I blew out the candles on my cake which I had to blow out twice because my mom missed the first time, and my parents wanted a photo Most of the kids felt hot and decided to go swimming. When I got into the water it was so cold that I almost froze, but I got used to it. I played water volleyball with my brother and two friends. My brother was trying to teach my younger cousin, Ian, to swim but Ian was scared. After I got out of the pool and I felt refreshed. At 10:30 p.m., I had to say goodbye to all my guests. I felt sad, but I enjoyed my party and I was looking forward to my 12th birthday, which was this past year.

My Class Trip

Me and my class were going on a trip in Connecticut. Me and my friend Arianna are on trip with our 5th grade class.  We are at this place called natures classroom. Natures classroom is in Connecticut.  When me and my class we stayed for 3 days. The girls had to sleep in one cabin and the boys slept in the other cabin. Every day you would get up and eat breakfast. When you went to  eat there would be different captains of your table. When you were the captain of the clean up the table. You had to pick an activity to do every day. you had an counselor who was with you and your group and she showed us around. Me and arianna had the same counselor. Our counselor liked for us to call her Ashley. Ashley showed use this leaf that had nutrition in it and she told the class to eat it. In my first activity we made wallets out of tape. my second activity was to make bottle rockets. The second day, my counselor Ashley showed us this game and it was like playing hide in go seek. It  was so fun. While I was there it was like I was on summer vacation having fun. Every night every one would go out side and they had a game for ever one to play. The whole 3days it rained even when we were on the coach bus. On the last day we had to pack all of our stuff and clean up the cabins before we left to go back to school. The day before we had to go home we played a game were there was different animals and there was kids in the animals groups. Then the next day we left and went back to the school and my dad picked me up.
